The Museum of Decorative Arts and Design opened a new exhibition on October 1, part of this year's ongoing "Spectrum" exhibition series. The series was created to showcase the skill of Latvian jewelry artists and each artist's individual creative approach.

The new exhibition, the third in the series, is titled "Architecture of Lines" and features works by eight artists. Their pieces place particular emphasis on geometric forms, graphic elements, and architectural thinking — an approach that reveals a different, more precisely constructed side of jewelry art.

Third chapter in a larger series

"Architecture of Lines" is part of a broader project that is gradually introducing audiences to various directions and approaches within jewelry art throughout the year. Spreading the "Spectrum" series across multiple exhibitions allows for a deeper look at the diversity of the field — from individual artistic style to specific thematic focuses, as in this case, geometry and architectural thinking in jewelry art.

The exhibition is being held at the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design.
