Four Latvian hockey players register assists in Czech Extraliga
Four Latvian ice hockey players — Roberts Mamčics, Haralds Egle, Kristaps Zīle and Fēlikss Gavars — recorded assists in Sunday's Czech Extraliga games.

Several Latvian ice hockey players contributed to their teams' results in Sunday's round of the Czech Extraliga, each picking up an assist.
Karlovy Vary win at home
Karlovy Vary's Energie, featuring Roberts Mamčics and Haralds Egle, defeated Plzeň's Škoda, led by Kristiāns Rubīns, 4:1 on home ice. Egle set up the team's second goal, while Mamčics picked up his assist in the third period. This season Mamčics has posted four points (two goals, two assists) in seven games, while Egle has five points (two goals, three assists) in the same number of games.
Liberec triumph on the road
In another game, Liberec's Bílí Tygři, who count Kristaps Zīle among their players, beat Mladá Boleslav, represented by Fēlikss Gavars, 5:3 away from home. Both Latvians registered assists in the match. For Zīle it was his first scoring point of the season, while Gavars, in his debut season in the Czech top league, has already accumulated eight points (three goals, five assists) in eight games.
Defeat in Litvínov
Meanwhile, Litvínov's Verva, with Jānis Jaks on the roster, lost 2:3 in overtime at home to Kladno's Rytíři.
Among the clubs featuring Latvian players, Karlovy Vary's Energie sits highest in the standings, having collected 15 points in seven games to rank third among 14 teams.
