On October 1, 2022, Latvia held Saeima elections. In the run-up to that vote, politicians promised to improve people's lives. Now, as new elections approach, it is time to check how much of that promise has actually been delivered.
The latest episode of the programme «Кейс» brings together experts to examine changes in four areas that affect the daily lives of most residents.
What the review covers
The programme looks at developments in healthcare, education, the social sector and security — the same fields where voters four years ago expected concrete improvements.
The aim of the episode is to let viewers judge for themselves whether decisions and reforms promised over the past four years have produced real change, or whether conditions in these sectors remain largely as they were before the previous election.
