Bogucki criticizes Tusk's government over Ukraine Recovery Conference organization
Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the Polish president's chancellery, stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's possible absence from the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk would indicate the Polish government's incapacity.

Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the chancellery of the Polish president, has criticized the government's handling of the organization of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk. He noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy might not attend the event, which would demonstrate the failure of Prime Minister Donald Tusk's government.
Bogucki emphasized that the presidential camp is not involved in the process and that full responsibility lies with the government. He added that the government is inept at managing such matters, a situation that existed both before and after Zelenskyy was stripped of an order.
In response to a question from RMF FM radio about whether the government might link Zelenskyy's absence to the revocation of the order, Bogucki said that would be "shirking responsibility." He also recalled that neither Donald Tusk nor Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski were present during Western leaders' discussions on Ukraine's reconstruction.
Meanwhile, Polish government spokesman Adam Szlapka stated that there are no signals that Zelenskyy will not come to the conference, and he expressed surprise at the discussion about the lack of invitation for the Polish president.
