A fatal traffic accident occurred in Latgale early on Saturday morning when a car collided with a wild animal, resulting in the driver's death. According to the State Police, the incident took place at around 4:43 AM in Kazanova, Ūdrīši Parish, Krāslava Municipality.
The vehicle involved, a Volkswagen Passat, struck a wild animal. The impact proved fatal, and the driver died at the scene. Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.
