Technical Talks Between US and Iran Continue; No Direct Talks Planned
Qatar has announced it will continue mediating between the US and Iran, but direct high-level talks are not expected soon.

Qatar's Foreign Ministry has stated that it will continue to serve as a mediator in the conflict between the United States and Iran. The announcement came after Qatari officials met with US representatives. According to Majid al-Ansari, the spokesperson for Doha's foreign ministry, technical-level talks between US and Iranian representatives are ongoing, but no direct talks or high-level meetings are planned in the near future. This indicates that dialogue between the two countries remains limited and progress is slow. Qatar has long been involved as a mediator between Washington and Tehran, aiming to foster understanding and reduce tensions. However, currently, the parties are unable to resolve their differences, and no significant breakthrough is expected in the near term.
