According to a poll conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KMIS), 56% of Ukrainians believe that the United States has grown weary of the war and is pushing Ukraine for concessions to Russia. In contrast, 30% of respondents still consider the US a steadfast ally, and 13% did not answer.

Regarding Europe, Ukrainian sentiment is more favorable: 64% of those surveyed think that European countries are seriously helping Kyiv and aim to end the war on fair terms. Meanwhile, 25% believe that European support has weakened and that Europe is pressuring Ukraine for an unjust peace. Another 12% gave no response.

Compared to January 2026, the share of Ukrainians with a positive view of Europe's policy toward Ukraine has risen from 58% to 64%. At the same time, the proportion of those who think Europe is tiring and its support is weakening dropped from 35% to 25%.

The survey was conducted from May 7 to June 3, 2026, using computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) with a random sample of mobile phone numbers across all government-controlled regions of Ukraine. A total of 1,000 respondents were interviewed.
