The sixth leg of the prestigious Diamond League athletics series took place in Oslo yesterday. For the first time this season, Latvia was represented by javelin thrower Anete Sietiņa, the world vice-champion.
Competing against eight other athletes, Sietiņa's best effort was 59.72 meters, just shy of the 60-meter mark. This performance earned her a fifth-place finish in the Norwegian capital.
The result marks a solid start to her Diamond League campaign, indicating promising form for the season ahead.
