Amflow TL e-bike is a versatile 'eSUV' for both trails and daycare runs

Amflow, the e-bike brand spun out of DJI, has announced its TL series — a do-it-all electric utility bike with a powerful mid-drive motor, high battery capacity, and a rear rack that can carry up to 27 kg, making it suitable for bikepacking or commuting with a child seat.

Amflow, the e-bike brand spun out of DJI, has just announced its TL series, a versatile “eSUV” designed for both off-road adventures and daily errands like dropping a kid at daycare.

Powertrain and Battery

The TL series is built around Amflow's compact yet powerful Avinox M2 mid-drive motor. The TL Carbon version delivers 125 Nm of torque and up to 1100W peak output. Battery capacity can reach up to 1280 Wh when the 800 Wh removable battery is paired with a 480 Wh range extender. There is also an optional hub that can sequentially charge up to four batteries.

Cargo and Utility

The bike comes standard with mudguards, integrated lights, and a rear rack that can carry up to 27 kg. An optional front rack adds another 20 kg capacity. The rear rack is MIK HD-compatible, allowing quick attachment of child seats, panniers, or a bike trailer. The front suspension, rear suspension, and wide knobby tires help absorb trail ruts and potholes. Total weight capacity is 200 kg, while the bike itself can be configured to as little as 22.6 kg — very light for a full-suspension utility e-bike.

Smart Features

Amflow TL features electronic shifting that detects shift signals and changes gears without pedaling. On steep hills, it reduces torque during shifts to minimize shock and protect the chain. Other features include Apple Find My integration for theft recovery, heart rate sensor integration to adjust pedal assist to a target heart rate zone, and control of DJI Osmo cameras directly from the bike's display.

Price and Availability

In Europe, the TL Carbon is priced at €3,499; in the UK, £3,199. US pricing is still to be announced. The Amflow TL series will be “available globally later this year.”
