Amazon unveils new Kindle accessories with physical buttons
Alongside its refreshed Kindle lineup, Amazon introduced several new accessories, including a wireless remote for turning pages. All items are available for pre-order and will ship starting October 28.

Amazon rolled out a new set of accessories designed to make e-reading easier, alongside its revamped Kindle device lineup.
Kindle Click
The standout addition is the Kindle Click, a Bluetooth remote control that lets readers flip pages without reaching for their device. It comes with an attached wrist strap, useful for situations like reading in an airplane seat without needing to hold onto it. Once paired with a compatible Kindle via Bluetooth, users press a button to move to the previous or next page. Unlike Kobo's remote released last year, which has buttons of differing sizes, the Kindle Click's two buttons are equal in size. It will cost $35, which is $5 more than Kobo's version. The Kindle Click works with all currently shipping Kindle models as well as the new ones announced today.
Page-turn cover and charging stand
Amazon also introduced the Page-Turn-Cover, a case with physical page-turning buttons, along with a wireless charging stand. Both accessories only work with the new Signature Edition Paperwhite and Colorsoft models announced today, which feature pogo pins. The cover attaches magnetically thanks to the aluminum housing of these premium models and is priced at $80. The charging stand recharges the devices via their pogo pins while also propping them up, allowing users to pair it with the Kindle Click to flip pages without touching the device.
All of the devices Amazon announced are now available for pre-order, and the accessories covered here will begin shipping on October 28.
