Albania is currently embroiled in several controversies, including protests against a luxury tourism project associated with Jared Kushner, accusations of disinformation involving Iran, a citizenship quest by former New York City mayor Eric Adams, and a lawsuit over an AI minister's likeness.

Iran has officially denied any involvement in the protests that have taken place in Albania. The demonstrations, part of what is being called the "flamingo revolution," are primarily directed against a luxury tourism development linked to Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of former U.S. President Donald Trump. According to reports, the proposed mega building project has generated significant backlash in the capital, Tirana. The situation has led to accusations of disinformation between Tehran and Tirana.

In a separate development, Eric Adams, the former mayor of New York City, addressed a crowd in Tirana, expressing pride in his American identity but also declaring that he is now Albanian. His comments come amid reports that he is seeking an Albanian passport.

Additionally, the Albanian government is facing a legal challenge from actress Anila Bisha. She has filed a lawsuit against the prime minister, the government, and a private company involved in creating an AI minister named Diella. Bisha claims that the AI model was based on her likeness without permission.

These events highlight a period of political and social tension in Albania, with multiple issues drawing international attention.
