Nearly 300 Combat Engagements Recorded on Frontline in Past Day
The General Staff reports 295 combat clashes, most intensive on the Huliaipole direction.
Over the past day, 295 combat engagements were recorded along the frontline, with the highest number occurring on the Huliaipole direction, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff.
On the North-Slobozhanske and Kursk directions, three clashes with the enemy took place. On the South-Slobozhanske direction, the enemy launched 15 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Starytsia, Synelnykove, Artilne, Kudiivka, Vilcha, and towards Khatnie, Izbystke, Zarubynka, and Sheviakivka.
On the Kupiansk direction, there were two attacks towards Novoosynove and near Kolisnykivka. On the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted nine breakthroughs, attacking towards Shiikivka, Stavky, Lyman, Druzheliubivka, Dibrova, and near Drobysheve and Novoselivka. On the Sloviansk direction, 25 assaults occurred near Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and around Riznykivka and Zakitne. On the Kramatorsk direction, two clashes near Markove and towards Tykhonivka.
On the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy conducted 17 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, and towards Dovha Balka. On the Pokrovsk direction, defenders repelled 31 assault actions near Shakhove, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Hryshyne, and towards Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Novyi Donbas, Serhiivka, Shevchenko, Ivanivka, and Bilytske. On the Oleksandrivka direction, seven attacks occurred near Oleksandrohrad, Berezove, Ternowe, and Ivanivka. On the Huliaipole direction, occupiers launched 38 attacks near Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, and towards Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipole, Hirke, Tsvitkove, Charivne, Verkhnia Tersa, Staroukrainka, and Kosivtseve. On the Orikhiv direction, defenders stopped four enemy attempts to advance towards Lukianovske and Novodanylivka.
The General Staff also noted that over the past day, Ukraine's defense forces killed and wounded 1,290 Russian soldiers, bringing total enemy losses in the war to 1,409,630.
